Wow, let's watch Leo ACT! I like Leo, but similar to his over the top subdued-ness in Revolutionary Road, he was just trying too hard, as was a very one dimensional Mark Ruffalo. Without the giving the plot away, I really think this was directed horribly. It was choppy and almost laughable at times with the horrible ghostly appearances of Leo's characters wife and the stupid antics he pulls to discover the truth. Like scaling up and down a 200 ft. sheer cliff wall. The pay off is lackluster in the end. Everything that was supposed to be creepy and scary was just dull. People were applauding at the credits... I assume because they liked it, not because it was over with and we could all get on with our loves.
