I love 3D but skipped the 3D Version because it was not filmed in 3D (and so would look cheesy). Having just seen 'How to train your Dragon' the week before and 'Avatar', 'District 9', Star Trek', 'Transformers' and a host of other movies my Kids and I were commenting on how much better Movies are these days. Until this...I think it was the editing that ruined it. The whole thing is disjointed making the actors look like the are doing cameo's. Perseus is portrayed as a thug ... anyone over 14 or who has seen the original should skip this or suffer a hollow feeling that lingers for days after..
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I said to my Son after the movie "I can't believe that just happened' he said "I know". We were speechless. Shortly afterward we commented that the 'real' world's 3D is bland... be careful this movie will change your perception of the world :) Simply a must see ... sit on the 5th row back.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
