Not bad, but not all that terrific either. The 3d was ok, but nothing to make you jump out of your seat, and the story line was just ok too. Not a bad movie at all, but not a "WOW" movie either.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Good action, not much "deduction"

I'm a Holmes buff. Liked the movie overall, plenty of good action and a good story line. Don't expect a whole lot of "Sherlock Holmes amazing deductions" - there are some but not at much as you might expect if you've read a lot of Holmes.
Good movie, though, definitely worth seeing and very enjoyable. Note the length and be sure to make a pit stop first!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
