Downey as Holmes

Whym
Downey's triumphant personality seems to overtake his characters as of late. As one of those who cheered for him as he prevailed in his personal life, there is that same sense of cockiness and arrogance on the screen that it is assumed was necessary to succeed in life. In short, if you like Downey, you'll love Holmes because, like Iron Man, Holmes became Downey... Downey did not necessarily become Holmes (as we have always known Holmes to be). But that's okay: Bale did the same thing in Batman, right?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
