Disappointing

Considering how long I've been waiting to see this movie, I have to say that I was disappointed on several levels. First I really thought I'd be more immersed in the 3D. For the subject matter, I thought the 3D should have been more intense. I also thought some of the characters were "underdone" and/or undercast from the rabbit to the Mad Hatter. Johnny Depp is capable of so much more than his character required. And I seem to recall that either the frog or one of the other characters sat on the mushrooms in the original version while talking to Alice. Adding some of the original Jefferson Airplane music to the movie sondtrack would have also been a nice touch and definitely doable.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
