Not Flawless, But Pretty Darn Close

This follow-up to Batman Begins picks up shortly after the first film, and just as things start to look up for our heroes, things fall apart. Quickly. Explosively. Horribly.
The creators of the film ramped everything up a notch, from the gallows-humor and psychotic evil of the Joker, to the how-far-will-he-go-to-get-justice Batman. Good times.
This movie comes at you fast. If you turn away for a moment or get up to use the restroom, you probably missed something.
Make no mistake, though. This is a DARK film. Not a movie to take the kiddies to.
Overall, this sorta ties, IMO, with Iron Man for best movie of 2008. I'm a big geek, though, so I'm a bit biased.
