This movie had outstanding special effects. If you liked Star Wars, you will like this movie. I spent the first half of the movie just trying to figure out what was going on though, it was confusing. All in all, I would say I do recommend it to most people. They could have told the same story in 2 hours or less though. Sigourney Weaver's character was kind of odd because she is portrayed as a nasty mean person in the beginning but then was Miss Compassionate later on, like her entire personality did an about-face. I liked it that they had a paraplegic actor in the leading role and that he could be a fearless warrior in the other land. Sort of cool in that way.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
