In typical Holmes' fashion, this movie captured the darker side of the genius and his sidekick. The movie was entertaining even if you never read a Sherlock Holmes mystery or seen an older Sherlock Holmes movie. The movie was a little on the long side and I found myself squirming at the 2 hour mark. Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law have you believing they are brothers from a different mother! The acting was superb and the plot intriguing. The ending was left wide open for a sequel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
