I saw the IMAX version of this movie and was plunged into a world that seemed real for its entire length. Havng amblyopia, I cannot see the 3D effects except fleetingly but even so I loved the movie. My husband who has normal vision said the 3D effects were awesome and loved it too, even though this is not the type of movie he usually would want to see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
