The film was very well done. Every element from the story was beautifully rendered in the film. Characters are spot on and ones we know and love from the Lord of the Ring franchise are back again. Ian McKellan is wonderful as Gandalf the Grey as are Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage in their respective roles. I enjoyed the movie from beginning to end and can't wait to see its conclusion!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

Special effects were off the charts. Thor, as a character and as a visual effect, was spot on. Cinematography was gorgeous. (So was Chris Hemsworth!) Story line was as expected for a comic book turned feature film, a little weak, but enough to keep you turning pages. Overall, I loved it and will probably go back and watch it again before it is out of the theaters!
