OMG. This was like watching a grade school play with a splash of color. I was so tortured in watching this, it made the thirty or forty minutes I stayed feel like I was shackled to the seat and made to watch hours of my neighbors trip videos. Maybe the ending was worth the torture for some, but a good movie has you at hello. I kept wondering if someone was playing a trick on me. The cast of The Wizard of Oz will roll over in their graves. Scenes were not cohesive, acting was like a school play, scenery had no meaning to the story, the special effects were great in the tornado, but at least have the star coming out of it all like he had been through one instead of like he just had a bath. I want my money back and should get it. If this boosts anyone's career, someone whack me upside the head cause surely I must be unconscious! Oh, I forgot, I did rather like one thing…the popcorn.
Cons bad acting, like a grade school play, no story setup, characters not cohesive or thought out
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I know I am supposed to be enamored by this movie what with the direction, Tom Hanks and Halle Berry. Well, that got me there, but I wished I had seen ARGO instead. Even though I knew the intention of the movie, it was just so broken up going from past to present or whatever that was that it just didn't connect for me. If I was watching this on tv I would have walked away after 30 minutes, albeit the action finally started half way through the movie and I did like it much better after that.Still not what I was expecting. Sorry but Cloud Atlas did not put me on cloud nine.
Cons too complex, slow in the beginning, some parts not quite believeable
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Exceptional movie. Special effects of the creatures were awesome. Funny how this relates to our Native Americans forced out of their homeland as well. Love the line, “If you want what someone has, make them your enemy and you have an excuse to fight them for it.” Save the trees! Highly recommend this movie for visuals and for making us think.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
