Okay, so my wife and I go to the movies every weekend. While we see a lot of movies and are both big movie fans, neither one of us are easily impressed. Having said that we were both totally impressed with AVATAR!
The story was great but probably the most impressive thing about the movie was the 3D! I really felt like I was in the movie at times. I know we have all seen 3D movies before that promised a lot but delivered very little; this movie does not do that!!!
Again, a great story but one you HAVE to see in 3D. The IMAX screen helps as well. I recommend sitting at least 3 or 4 rows back. Go see it before it leaves the theatres and prepare to stand in line for a while even this long after the release, but it is worth it!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
