I was really looking forward to this movie, especially in Digital 3D. While the 3D was great and the story was filmed in a way that didn't go out of its way to take advantage of 3D (no swords coming at you or people trying to poke you), the movie itself was not all that.
The acting was less than inspired, the special effects were a little clunky at times (the galloping horse was really obvious it was not real) and the actual story really didn't go anywhere.
I was disappointed in the story primarily because there was no real reason for the drama leading up to the end. I normally would say wait for Netflix, but the 3D makes it marginally worth seeing if there are no other 3D movies to see.
