The teams that put this together covered every conceivable detail. For many reasons, the casting of Sigourney Weaver was brilliant.
We saw this film in IMAX 3D and can't wait to find the time to go back and see it again. I'd seen other comments that this film would not be the same as Titanic with regards to a romance that kept bringing teenage girls in to see the film 10-15 times.
I'm only a guy---and an old one at that---but I think the romance in this movie is definitely equal to that in Titanic. And people won't be leaving this movie saying "The ship sunk. Get over it."

When this comes out in Blue-Ray (hopefully in 3D) it will be the catalyst to convert a number of HDTV holdouts. I hope some of it floats back to the filmmakers.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
