Great Moviemaking Poor Plot and SciFi Details

This movie was spectacular in a literal sense. The 3D animation and action was superb. Both my buddy and I agreed it felt we were in the jungle sometimes. If something happened to make us regress socially to bulldozing natives and ignoring biotech it was not explained. We've had slant drilling for decades now and they should have been able to mine that rock from miles away without the aboriginal people knowing it. Weapons systems and aircraft were almost at current tech level. That was a real ball-dropping issue for us sci fi guys. Overall very good experience and I recommend it but set aside any need for a sensible plot and cogent sci fi and prepare to be preached to. Very much like Pocahantas on steroids.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
