Fun to Get Away

Great effects are the hallmark of this film. The story is good, yet becomes predictable in the first 45 minutes- which is not good as the film clocks in at more than 3 hours. Campy dialogue and forced delivery make some scenes unbearable (there was laughter from the audience). Having said that (A CYE reference), the film brings an interesting message about colonisation, assimilation and the environment. Read in to it if you want, or don't.
Visually spectacular, Cameron does a great job of creating Pandora. Just be ready- there are a lot of blue people....
Yes, I recommend this movie.
