Incredible Experience!

I drove an hour and a half to go watch this at my nearest IMAX theater. Let me tell you it was worth the trip.
Avatar is best experienced in IMAX 3D with the level of detail and quality that is unmatched by regular theaters. And the Real D 3D does not give you a severe headache like previous 3D glasses. Instead of making the images seem to reach out and grab at you, Real D gives them depth. Amazing.
I cannot believe the imagination these artists have put into this movie. It's incredible, unlike almost anything seen on Earth. I can see now why James Cameron has always wanted to make a movie like this. And I am thankful he waited for the technology to catch up. It was probably one of the best movies I have ever seen.
