OMG....did this movie take special effects to a new level. Yes, I will agree--like some reviewers--that the sci-fi part was not on par with Star wars, but the action and romantic mix more than made up for that. I can easly see where the 300 mil went to--graphic production. I was also impressed with the mix of animated grapics / real shots. I really was prepared fpr just a small portion of animation, since it cost more. Much to my surprise the opposite was given. Not a penny was spared in this production. I look forward to the sequel.
My only complaint, though small, the ending was a bit canned and predictable.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
