Great Soundtrack!

I went and saw this movie in 3D and Dbox. You'd think that would have been enough to keep me interested and engaged right? The plot was lame, the special effects were well done but the 3D wasn't used very effectively. The best thing I can recommend about this movie is the electronic score by Daft Punk. I hope it is recognized with an oscar nomination. DON'T PAY EXTRA FOR DBOX! IT WORKED WELL FOR INCEPTION BUT I FOUND MYSELF JUST ANNOYED BY IT FOR THIS FILM.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Visually Stunning!

Avatar is a ground breaking film visually. You really feel immersed in the world that James Cameron has created. The attention to detail is amazingly precise. I enjoyed the story and the acting was first rate. My only problem with the viewing experience is that the 3-D glasses could have been cleaner. I understand the theater's dilemma in trying to clean hundreds of glasses between each showing but given that one is paying several dollars extra for the experience you should feel that you're getting the value that you paid for.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
