I am an avid Nicholas Sparks fan. He is the only author of this genre I will read. That said, I am sad to say that I do not think the movie was up to the standards of his book from which it came. The ending was anti-climatic. The characters could have been better developed. I would watch it again to pass the time however it is not my favorite movie based on his books. I would have to say out of all the movies made from his books this is the one I least liked. Nicholas Sparks is a writer who writes in a way that you feel the emotions of his characters. That is what makes his books amazing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
