Avatar is a winner (IMAX 3-D a must). The animation was seamless & the characters very convincing. The artistry & creativity amazing - a treat to the eyes & imagination.
It is unfortunate there has to be any cussing in it because it's not necessary & only distracts from the very entertaining parts of the movie. Star Wars taught us that bad language & gore is not necessary to be a great crowd pleaser. Hopefully, in future Avatar sequels they focus more on what sets them apart from the run-of-the-mill movies rather than try to slip in a little cussing here & there.
Overall though it is a great movie, especially nowadays when so many poor ones are out there. I do not usually see movies more than once but plan to see Avatar again & again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
