Though the plot is almost as cliché as the trailer indicates, and I want to strangle whoever picked the word "unobtanium," the movie is so breathtaking that you will forget all of that. Consider it a standard sci-fi/fantasy story brought to life by fantastic CG. Definitely something you'll want to see in theaters.
(Note: I don't think 3D added a whole lot without the IMAX element.)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
