Good solid movie

This was a good solid movie. All good SF movies show you something new. This one does. It doesn't earn the 5th star IMHO because it lacked the 'WOW" factor for me.
Cameron does an excellent job getting the most of existing technology. It is hard to see where reality ends and animation begins.
I watched this in a newer, AMC-converted IMAX. For me, it wasn't the same as what I would consider true IMAX. Also, I don't know that you need to watch this film in 3D afterall.
In the end, the movie was enjoyable, and I would purchase it again on DVD or Blu-Ray.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
