Amazing graphics, colors, and scenery aside, this movie transported me into the past at the same time it was telling the story of our present. The "savage" Na'vi had to be displaced or murdered to get to the unobtainable under their living tree. Remember the white man slaughtering the "savage" Red Skins to steal their land and buffalo. The movie brought me into the present situation in the wars America is currently fighting. The reason for the wars is not "terrorism," it's for oil rights, etc, and because certain groups of Americans look at those countries and their inhabitants as "lower class" human beings. Seems like there is always a government backing a large corporation in this type of scenario - movie fiction and/or real life.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
