Fun Summer Movie

This time of the year is hot, and sticky for some. This is a great movie to go and enjoy while we are in the midst of Dog Days of Summer. It is fun, and you have to pay attention to follow along. I enjoyed this film. I gave it only 4/5 stars because I thought it was a solid film, but not the best of all time.

Better than Expected. Wierdness was not a factor

I went into this movie with little background knowledge of the movie or plot. I was expecting to be weirded out by the blue alien characters. Honestly, it was weird at first, but it seriously grew on me. Then I was just immersed into the movie. They captured emotions unlike I have seen in any movie in a long time. The computer-generation was phenomenal, the plot was well-made, and overall, I walked out of the theater with a big smile on my face. I have not felt this excited about a movie since "The Dark Knight," and I came out of that theater smiling thanks to Heath Ledger's outstanding performance. Avatar, for me, pretty much had the entire package as far as I like in movies, and it takes a bit for me to say that regarding a single movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
