Visually Stunning Avatar

The 3D version of Avatar is a visual marvel and is totally engrossing for the entire two hours and forty minutes. But, since Mr. Cameron spent 750 million dollars on this film, couldn't he have set aside a few million for someone to write a decent screenplay? The story is totally predictable and derivative: unworthy of the film's visual effects.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
