Avatar succeeds where so many other films fail. It transports you away from this world and amazes you with visual delights and characters you can actually care about. A good solid story topped with seamless 3-D that allows you to forget about anythhing outside the theatre. You are, for over 2 and a half hours, part of another world, another time, another emotional state. You believe you are somewhere else, and that is the core of Great movie making. I am recommending this to anyone who likes going to the movies. To try and tell anyone about how wonderful this movie experience is, is like seeing ALL of The Wizard of OZ in black and white.
