Great Movie!

Karate Kid is a wonderful family movie and a great story. I loved the way there was continuity from the first movie with references and similarities through out the movie but with so many new improvements in the second movie. The setting in China is contemporary. The core values in the first movie are also present in the second which is refreshing to see. A very good plot with great actors and acting. Excellent martial arts choreography which created realistic fight scenes. I guess Jackie Chan had a lot to do with the fight choreography which was consistent with his high quality standards. This remake was actually an improvement which is exactly what you want with a remade movie. Go see the movie and judge for yourself!

The Blind Side

This was an excellent movie about a true story. Compelling, compassionate and very funny with a very powerful message about helping others. Really great story. Coincidentally, the day after I saw the movie, I saw the real Michael Orr whom the story is about; playing football for the Baltimore Ravens on CBS. The Ravens drafted him this year 2009.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

This movie was really very good and better than I expected. The plot actually has substance and has some unexpected twists that really added a lot of flavor to the movie. Lots of action, really great acting, great special effects and gadgets reminiscent of Iron Man. I give this movie a 9 out of a possible 10. I was impressed.

The Taking of Pelham 123

This was a great movie! Oscar winning performances by Denzel Washington and John Travolta. Very good plot and great acting all the way around. My wife and I both were commenting "he's done it again!" with reference to Denzel's stellar performance.

Really good movie with great acting. The settings in Rome are very captivating with regard to the city, the art work, sculptures, buildings. Just seeing the scenes that were inside the Vatican and the Vatican archives were very impressive and powerful images which created plausibility and realism.The plot was really good but predictable but that was fine since you were given an understanding at the beginning of the movie and the details weren't revealed. Tom Hanks was great as usual and so were the supporting actors/actresses. Good movie with a great plot.

Movie was really good with great acting by the entire cast. I thought Idris Elba and Ali Larter were exceptional in their roles. Idris Elba is able to convey emotion very powerfully with his facial expressions and eyes. Very riveting! Ali Larter actually had me believing she was out of her mind and truly OBSESSED! Great movie!

Great movie. Very well done and enjoyable. Extreme violence in this movie. Great performance by Hugh Jackman. Comic book ending but after all, thats the origin.

I would never waste my time going to this movie. I am very seldom ever fooled by previews and usually get a good idea of the quality of the movie from the repeated previews. In this case I was totally fooled. The studio did a great job of presenting the movie in the previews. To sum it all up, I enjoyed the previews much more than the movie. On a scale of 1to 10 this movie is a 5. I put it in my "wait for the DVD class. Even then; don't expect much.

This was a really good movie with a great story to tell. I was enlightened and educated regarding the internal conflict that Germans were having with Hitler. I was unaware of the numerous assasination attempts on Hitlers life by Germans who wanted to put an end to his tyranny and atrocities. Great acting by Tom Cruise and the supporting cast was excellent. Plenty of suspense, action and intrigue while telling a true story.
