The 3D and IMAX effects of this movie was truly a powerful experience. I got butterflies in my stomach in some of the extreme height scenes and was tempted to try to swat some of the bugs that magically appeared in front of my face. Even if SciFi isn't your cup of tea you really should experience this movie which will no doubt define special effects for years to come.
For me the only thing that took away from the overall experience was the old storyline where we are the bad guy. Corporate and military might putting profits in front of the needs of an indiginous population. Very negative bias against human kind.
