The cast of the film is fabulous, and the script is pretty good. Odd editing choices at some points, and ends abruptly without enough resolution. The relationship between Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds was well-defined in the begininning, and developed at a satisfying pace...not rushed, not glossed over...and the boss/employee thing worked without being a "cougar" thing. I worry about a genre of "tame the b***h" movies, though...it kind of reminded me of the Goldie Hahn/Kurt Russell film "Overboard", which I also enjoyed, but both of which have men as shrew-tamers as their central plot.
