You can certainly see that James Cameron watches movies. I noticed a bit of Star Wars, Ferngully, Last of the Mohicans, Terminator Salvation and probably many more. The good part is that he put them all together to make an enjoyable and visually stimulating movie that makes you want to see the next installment.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
