Except for the fact that they totally destroyed the timeline for the rest of the Star Trek uinverse, I really loved this movie. It was so well cast, all of the principals were just perfect. They stayed very true to the spirit of the original show. I highly recommend Star Trek. It was action filled and yet the characters were very well developed and recognizable. I especially loved the casting for Spok, Scotty and Kirk. They were dead on. Bottom line, a heck of a good time!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
