When a 2 hour movie seems like it's actually 2 hours, something is wrong. Initially the characters seem to be developing into interesting people, but then it just puttered out. Morgan Freeman's character really could have been played by anyone, it's the worst usage of Morgan Freeman in a movie that I can remember since Chain Reaction. And the "surprise" bad guy was just an overused plot convenience, not a "gotcha!".
