A newer, darker take on the Ferngully story (on another planet, of course.) Though I knew the whole story within about 15 minutes, I was thoroughly entertained for all 180 minutes. Breathtaking visuals, compelling characters, this movie fills a gaping hole in the soul of Hollywood. Don't expect an Oscar-worthy script and you won't be disappointed at all. Sometimes the best stories are the least sophisticated.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
