Worth a Try

The stunning cutting edge special effects are...effective and what make this movie worth watching. Otherwise the characters are not much different than those of a Steven Segal movie. The good guys are the tree dwelling, peaceloving, self-reliant, honest, indegeous tribes living in harmony with nature. The bad guys are the money grabbing, violent, take what we want at any cost, heartless military exploiters of natural resources. The main character is the guy in the middle who tries to stop the latter from blasting the former out of existence by overcoming overwhelming odds.
I doubt if I'll go back for a second viewing. Without the Special Effects my rating is two stars max.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
