I was hoping this movie would live up to the hype around it, and it didn't... It blew it away! I figured that Cameron would make an excellent looking CGI film with fantastic special effects and a decent story to carry it. Let's put it this way... The CGI actors in this movie realistically portrayed emotions better than most I've seen this year with REAL actors. The planet of Pandora was alive, beautiful and frighteningly real. The story was gripping and I found myself cheering against my own people. The romance between Jake and his lady was heartfelt and came through very well. Now, I was going to write some cons, but frankly, I cannot think of one. Rare is a film I walk out of in anticipation of a sequel so much as I am with Avatar.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
