James Cameron never promised a complex story line. He said the film would change movie making. He delivered..big time.
Yes the plot was simple and we've seen essentially the same story before, but who cares.
Sometimes it doesn't really matter if you can see what's coming next.. you still want ot see it. This was one of those films.
Don't hate on the movie because the plot was simple. Appreciate the world Cameron created and the emotional connection he made with the audience.
