Though, Cameron's Avatar went into production even before Radio Nowhere came out, the song was a call to arms for artists eveywhere. Avatar is a fitting and brilliant response... which many will determine a masterpiece. The movie depicts the contemporary dilemma between Science and Art, where Science is alligned with a tired, greedy and destructive industrialism, and Art to youth and Nature, tied to a spiritualism which has not yet been fully discovered. It advocates both a will to preserve the environment, and to discover what good may come from the controversial stem cell research. It condemns the greed-driven or militant use of technology for profit rather than human spiritual advancement .
Yes, I recommend this movie.
