After reading a few of the reviews I questioned whether or not to see it. My husband didn't want to go but after convincing him to go he was delighted. I do agree with the fact that the plot was a bit campy, but the stunning visual effects certainly made up for that. Sometimes it's just as fun to watch a fantasy-type movie and just be awed by what is on the screen as opposed to following a deep script.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
