A masterpiece for James Cameron

Its rare to find movies in the Hollywood big budget arena with heart, deep character development combined with eye popping special effects and unsurpassed action. Avatar incorporates all of these characteristics. Special effects is a tool that is often abused by movie makers at the expense of good storytelling, resulting in lots of "boom" but no substance. This may be the first movie I've seen where the special effects were a valuable tool in telling the story and not overwhelming like the THX intros in many films. . If you can see this in 3D, DO IT! If you can't, see the movie anyway. Its too good to miss
