Always bet on James Cameron

James Cameron understands how to make an epic movie. The plots may be somewhat predictable but why screw up a visual feast with a plot twist. Also, it's good to know that at least somebody tries to do modern science fiction who has at least read some science.
As for the look of the film, there was not a moment when I did not believe I was looking at real characters. No Jar Jar Binks in this film.
