I would definitely recommend this movie - its a visual treat and a piece of technological marvel. Although the story is run-of-the-mill, thats what makes it more special - taking a beaten down guy-meets-girl story and make it so captivating. Don't be misled by reviews such as "I could predict the outcome" etc. Sure you can, but its not about what's gonna happen in the end, its about getting there.
The two things I did not like - a) length of the movie could have been 20mins shorter and b) the real 3D glasses take away some of the vividity of the images.

Go watch it. Its a grand magnum opus kinda movie. Like it or hate it, but be a part of it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
