ad stated "Ground Breaking". BS. nothing ground breaking here. Denzel and cinematography is great but the movie is terrible. slow and plodding with a couple of quick action scenes thrown in.
the bible the victim of post-apocalypse prejudice. really? the few surviving people with no water and food are making it a priority to destroy all copies of the bible? give me a break!
and how is it that everyone is understandably dirty in a desert world with scare water yet the main female character looks like she just came from a photo shoot?
just plain dumb! I regret having fallen for the hype. I definitely would not see it again and I cannot even recommend it as a "don't have anything else to watch" dvd.
