CG 5 stars - Story 3 stars

Well, was it worth the anticipation and the ten-year wait? Probably. I will say that the CG and art direction and the overall effect of the film was awesome. But the weakness of the story hurts this film tremendously. I don't know if anyone else has used this line, but "Dances with Aliens" comes to mind. This was a story that could have been told in 90 minutes. Stretching it to 2-1/2 hours, with fairly routine plot twists and set scenes, made it weaker.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
