"Invictus" is a powerful film, detailing the efforts of Nelson Mandela to unite the South African people after he became President. I had always admired this man, but did not know how brilliant he was in utilizing the country's rugby team to bring his people together by calling upon their national pride in their sports team.
Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon were brilliant in their portrayals of the two primary protagonists. All of the other actors in the film gave solid, believable performances. I particularly admired the portrayals of Mandela's security staff. Excellent film: well worth seeing!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
