First of all, this was not a bad movie. I was entertained for the majority of it and like everyone has said before - you NEED to see it in IMAX 3D if you're going to see it at all. The immersion of the stereoscopic 3D is ridiculous and the mocap technology is simply stunning. That being said . . . . where the blazes was someone, ANYone to help JC punch the story/script up so that it wasn't a ham-fisted disaster. I've heard this movie described as 'Dances with ThunderSmurfs' which is surprisingly accurate. Worth the $15 ticket . . . but probably not a second viewing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
