Have no fear, this movie is an awesome experience. When transferred to 2-d this film is not done justice as the aliens end up looking fake and the movie looks more like a videogame than a film. However, when seen in 3-d the film takes on a quality of realism that has never before been seen in film. In 3-d the aliens look real and the movie as a whole looks extremely real. The 3-d helps you get lost in the world which makes the film much more of a moving experience than any other film I have seen.
In short, the trailers make this film look horrible, but the film itself, when seen in 3-d, is utterly awesome.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
