Don't Believe the Hype of Cameron Groupies

Sure, the visuals were unlike any i've ever seen, but the screenplay is torturously bad. The dialogue will have you cringing in your seat and the storyline is cliche, formulaic, dull, and insanely predictable. Cameron doesn't effectively create any emotional ties between the audience and the characters, so when major characters die off, nobody really cares. Don't waste your money and time on this stunningly beautiful piece of crud. But if my review doesn't persuade you against seeing it, at least don't see it in 3D. I don't know what happened, but the 3D used in Avatar is horrible. I felt cross-eyed throughout the movie and had to keep just one eye open to fix this problem. Bottom line, this was the most overrate, overhyped movie of '09.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
