Who would have expected such a fun romp at an opera -- every part sung and played to perfection -- a joy to behold.

Though the movie was reminiscent of "ALL THAT JAZZ" IN THAT THE MAIN CHARACTER WAS REVIEWING HIS LIFE -- HE WAS IN THIS NOT AT ALL ON HIS DEATH BED -- THE PRODUCTION NUMBERS WERE SPECTACULAR; DANIEL DAY LEWIS WAS BRILLIANT AS WAS JUDI DENCH. THE SINGING AND DANCING OF FERGIE, KATE HUDSON, AND PENELOPE CRUZ WAS TOTAL EYE CANDY.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
