This opera is not a bit too long!! The live and recorded interviews during the intermissions were very informative and interesting. The movement on stage at the end of the opera to switch from Venice back to the tavern was exquisite!! The costumes, the singing, the acting, the dancing were magnificent. I feel so lucky that we had the opportunity to view this opera in HD via our movie theater. For those who don't speak French, there are English subtitles. It is very easy to follow the story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
